(OPERATIONS)
|
OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
|
Provide support to Chief Executive Officer on the strategic management and issues of the operational functions of the Company relating to the trusteeship services and custodianship.
Provide support to the management in improving internal processes and monitoring the implementation of the key initiatives related to internal business processes for the Company’s operations.
Providing overall management and leadership in relation to delivery of the Operations Departments (OD).

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION
|
- Preparation of the Strategic Plan, Business Plan, yearly budget and manpower planning of the Company.
- Implement key initiatives under the Strategic Plan and Business Plan to achieve Company’s goals and objectives including achievement of Company’s Budget and KPI.
- Provide overall strategic management and leadership to the OD in fulfilling and discharging the Company’s duties as trustee to collective investment scheme, bond and sukuk, private retirement scheme, custodian and other corporate trusteeship.
- Ensure the implementation of digitalization initiative/automation.
- Provide support, direction, and advice to the OD on day-to-day operations and ensuring the Departments fulfil their functions and discharge their duties.
- Attend to the strategic issues of the Company’s business operation.
- Provide proper recommendation to CEO for any approval required to be given on Company matters especially on Operations matter.
- Participate to develop business strategies related to operations and participate in business acquisition and presentation.
- Responsible to monitor OD’s operations to ensure its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible to analyse the staff’s performance on a periodical basis.
- Develop, foster and maintain strategic working relationships with key clients in order to achieve business growth.
- Participate in the Company’s program with clients and build strategic partnership with local/global player related to Capital Market Industry.
- Reporting the required reports to Regulators.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
|
- Degree in any related courses from a recognized university/college.
- At least eight (8) year’s related experience.
- Progressive experience, including min 5 years’ experience in a capital market industry or trusteeship services.
- Well versed with SC’s Guideline and related laws.

COMPLIANCE MONITORING DEPARTMENT
|
OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
|
To review the operations of Company as trustee to Unit Trust Funds, Private Retirement Scheme and Real Estate Investment Trusts in ensuring compliance of the Company with the relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
|
RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION
|
- Prepare draft trustee reports, income distribution, UTF Compliance Returns, PRS Returns, REIT Compliance Return, Monthly Compliance reports, Non-compliance reports, Proposal Papers, Application Forms, Appointment Letters and Correspondence Letters for HOD’s approval.
- Perform monthly compliance monitoring on the operations of the Company.
- Perform Trustee visit to Unit Trust Management Companies office. The outcome of the visit will form part of the trustee’s report issued by AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad.
- Review the level of compliance of Corporate Bonds Issuer and other trusteeship services.
- Any other tasks assigned by the HOD from time to time.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
|
- Degree in Legal/Finance/Accounting and other related disciplines from a recognized university/college and/or professional qualification
- At least one (1) - two (2) years of working experience with Trust Company and/or relevant experience in Capital Market or investment will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in capital market industry and knowledge of relevant rules and regulations.

- Able to convincingly communicate with all levels of people
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- High interest in capital market industry
- Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook
- Meticulous, organized and detail-oriented
- Possess good interpersonal skill and analytical skill
